but today I am a strong man that can stand up for his rights

but today I can voice my opinion and have many agree with me

Inside I can find that hiding place,
but today I am a strong Chicano that threatens society's stereotype

Inside I'm barefoot and running Gravel street alone,
but today I walk with my head high and people respect what I have to say

Inside I can dream about equality,
